The National Grower Register (NGR) recently attended the Australian National Field Days and in conjunction with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) officially launched the RMHC deduction preference. The launch and joint initiative were hailed as a great success and with a large amount of rural media attending the stand throughout the day it is hoped that more Growers and Buyers will become aware of this excellent opportunity to help rural families with sick children.
Growers wishing to make an ongoing donation to this wonderful charity will be able to nominate on their NGR forms a 10c per tonne donation to be deducted from their grain sales. There are also fantastic opportunities for Buyers to support their Growers and communities by donating either matching gifts or set amounts to this worthwhile charity.
