NGR Pty Ltd was formed in 2002 as an initiative between the leading agri-businesses of ABB Grain Ltd (now Viterra Ltd) and GrainCorp Limited. Together these founding shareholders have funded the development and initial operation of the NGR system. NGR Pty Ltd continues to manage the NGR system.
