New Functionality in NGR eCVD: Simplifying QA Program Details
As the evolution of our eCVD (Commodity Vendor Declaration) continues, we identified that often a CVD requires the inclusion of a Quality Assurance (QA) program from an organisation other than your own. Traditionally, this meant Growers or Data Subscribers had to manually obtain and maintain these QA programs, or keep a list of partially filled PDF CVDs. This process was prone to errors, as QA programs can expire or change over time, making it difficult for everyone to stay up to date.
From September the QA Program field in the NGR eCVD has been upgraded
To address this issue and make the process more efficient, we’ve shifted the responsibility back to the organisations that own the QA programs.
From September, we have upgraded the QA Program field in the NGR eCVD. Instead of a free text field, users will now have access to a dropdown menu that allows them to select QA programs stored in our system. If a program isn’t available, users can still manually enter the details.
For Growers, or anyone completing an NGR eCVD, this change means an improved, streamlined experience. For example, if you select “GrainCorp” from the dropdown, the Certificate Number and Expiry Date will auto-populate based on the information GrainCorp has provided.

In this testexample the user has selected GrainCorp, and the Certificate Number and Expiry has automatically loaded based on the details GrainCorp have entered in against their account.
How Can You Add Your QA Program to the List?
If your organisation has a QA program you’d like to add to the system, follow the 3 simple steps below once one of your Administrative Users has logged into myNGR.
Once added, your QA program will be available for selection by other organisations and Growers. Additionally, Administrative Users will receive notifications before the expiry date is reached, ensuring that new or updated programs can be added on time.
