Continued Operations

Continued Operations

The team at NGR’s focus during this developing public health situation continues to be the health and safety of all our staff, their families and the community we engage with.

Our team is following Government advice and practices. These include:

– Limiting of face-to-face and in office meetings, observing social distancing

– Conscientious healthy hygiene methods

– Limited intra/interstate travel

Given the digital based nature of the service and products we offer at NGR, we are in a unique position during these challenging times to continue operating in a business as usual capacity.

If Isolation is Mandated or Required

If, in the event that we need to action a company-wide self-isolation strategy arrangement, our team is ready to continue providing quality service to our customers.

In recent days we have conducted a number of tests and procedural checks to ensure the continuity of service and to ensure our data security is maintained. We can assure our customers that we have in place measures that ensure the continuity of data security and the networks that our staff connect through. Our systems are hosted offsite in Australian based Tier 3 Data Centres, with multiple back-up servers in place to ensure data security for our customers and maintains confidence in NGRs history of the responsible management of customer data.

Possible impact on customers

In a fully remote workforce situation, we would anticipate limited impact on our customers.

But we did want to make you aware, that potential impacts might include, as identified by telecommunications companies, slower NBN speeds impacting myNGR and my eDOCS functionality. There could potentially be longer call back times while our team manage call volumes via alternatives channels of contact with our customers as a result of slower internet speeds and the ability to support our growers through the use of phone declarations may be limited.

Awareness of situation evolution

We will continue to communicate any changes that occur with NGR’s operational arrangements. During these times our care for the health and safety of our community, if you’re concerned about your own health, we would encourage the ongoing seeking of information from health authorities:

• Queensland Health advice and information

• 24/7 National Coronavirus Health Information Line (1800 020 080)
